Shenanigans - The Authentic Irish Band in Cape Town!

Thank you for visiting our new website. As an up-to-date band, we want to give you the opportunity to stay in touch with our forthcoming gigs.

We do pub gigs, corporate functions and special occasions - weddings, birthday parties etc. If you're under 100 years old, we'll have you dancing on the tables to be sure! We are a traditional Irish band with real Irish musicians but we are also as versatile as the hills are green. We also do rock'n'roll and blues. In brief  you should know the following about us: Our band was established a few years ago and we play corporate and private functions.We play regularly at Fogeys Muizenberg and at the Paulaner Brauhaus at the V & A Waterfront. Sometimes a little Irish content and sometimes a lot. 

Gigs played in the last year include Bastille day celebration at Kirstenbosch. St. Patricks Day celebration for the SA Irish Association also at Kirstenbosch. Trade function at Leinster House for Irish Tourism, Functions at Simonstown, Gordon's Bay, RCYC and other Yacht Clubs, Medway Marketing Corporate function at Radisson Hotel, Irish Tourism function at Table Bay Hotel, Plexus Insurance function at Bloemendal Restaurant. James Bond eve. for S.A.Hotel .Assoc.at the Commodore Hotel Waterfront.Numerous appearances at the Waterfront amphitheatre etc.
